Camping!

The first part of September we had some beautiful weather, so we decided to enjoy it and go camping! Matt has done a lot of "camp-ins" with the kids, but this was our first "camp-out!" Emma and Tal thought it was the greatest thing ever and I think it's safe to say that Matt was just as excited as the kids! I had fun too. It's been a long time since I've sat outside a tent around the fire. It was nice!

"Ice Puck"

That's how Tal says Ice Cream Truck. This truck hit the jack pot every time he'd come by our house this summer. We'd all get a cold, delicious, satisfying treat each time he'd pass. It must be the music. Even when Matt heard that sweet little twinkling sound he jumped off the lawn mower, ran inside and yelled, "The ice cream truck's coming. Hurry, where's my wallet!!"

Rosie Rochelle!

Rochelle is and has always been one of my favorite cousins. So I was so, so excited when she told me she was coming to St. Louis to run a 5K (I did not get those genes...She did and is awesome, and I didn't and I'm really ok with it). We had a really great weekend together. Seeing her brought back some really fun memories. I love this girl.

We went to the Arch...our claim to fame! I hadn't been there in about 2 years, so I was due for a visit too!

Emma LOVED Sunni. She cried for about 2 days after they left. Does that mean we need a dog...?

Kkkkkkkindergarten!

Well, it happened and her first day was amazing! After I pulled myself together I was able to be excited for her. It doesn't help that they have all day Kindergarten here. When It was finally time to pick her up she came leaping out with a huge smile on her face. She loves it and is doing so well; makes me feel better and better everyday that she goes.

Yes, I was that mom that took a ton of pictures. It was to mask the tears!

The first few days Emma was at school Tal walked around the house looking for her! He gets so happy when we leave to pick her up!

Such a big Kindergartener! [Sigh]

No Way!!!

Emma lost her first tooth! I know it was a a big moment for her, but all I could think was "This isn't possible! First her tooth, then Kindergarten, and next week she'll be six!" How can I be at this point already!" She was so, so excited, it was hard to feel to sorry for myself!! Plus I love that hole-y smile!!

Hula Hoopin' girl

Emma is an awesome hula hooper. She learned while we were visiting our family in Utah! Since she picked it up so well I gave her the idea she should do the hula hoop contest at the fair this year! She did so well, and was one of the last 5 kids up! Pretty good, huh?!

We couldn't leave the fair without hitting a few rides first. And thankfully that's all we did at the fair this year. It was really HOT this year! PHEWW.

Yogurt head

Oh Tal! I just think he's great, but he is the messiest eater I have ever, ever, EVER seen. It's incredible really. There is not one meal where a total disinfecting of all things he's touched doesn't need to happen. Food, and drink are all over everything. And once it's been spilt it gives him such joy to spread it everywhere. Today happened to be yogurt! Goodness child!

Utah 2010!!

We made another road trip to Utah, and we had such a fun time. Matt stayed the first week then had to be home, which meant the kids and got to fly home the week later. We did so much while we were there. Seeing really good friends, and family is always fun for us. I just remember eating and smiling a lot. I feel recharged now!!

Fourth of July

I love the 4th in Fillmore. I just do. Probably because nobody does anything here to celebrate. Boring! We did the Kid's Parade, Firework, and all!

Ten Year Reunion

Yes I did. I went to my ten year high school reunion, and it was great! I loved seeing everyone; how they've changed, but not really. It was such a nice time reconnecting and remembering the year 2000.

This is one of my besty-bestest Callie. She is one of a kind and all around fabulous!!! Can't you tell?!
