Halloween Ballet Performance

Emma started taking ballet this year. And to say that she loves it would be a complete understatement! In class they were working on some special dances to perform for us on Halloween. It was so fun to see her dancing. And loving it! I have the most wonderful memories of dancing at her age.
They showed us how they warmed up.

They did a very fun dace to "Monster Mash." Tal sang that song for weeks! haha
Dance with Daddy time!

Look at these ballerinas!!
Then it was time to pass out some treats. Tal even got in on the treat action!!

Halloween 2010!

A trip to the incredible Rambach Farms for the perfect pumpkins is the best way to start off this spooktacular time of year. We love that place. Pumpkins, a corn maze, more pumpkins, the haunted village, even more pumpkins, and the Great Pumpkin Pyramid!

It's always more fun with friends. Check out those big ol' pumpkins!
A pumpkin just Tanner's size!

Can't beat climbin' on an old tractor, can ya?
The goods!

Then the BIG day arrived. And what did we walk out of the house looking like? Awesome! That's what. The ward Trunk-or-Treat wasn't quite "Oz" but it worked!!!

A very adorable Scarecrow that feel in love with his sucker!
The curly, nice GIRL lion!
Dorothy lovin' on the Tin Man (and Todo too)!

Train Day!

It was the perfect thing to do on a day with Daddy! The train festival. This year one of the oldest and biggest steam engines made it's way to town. Tal was in complete heaven. Emma thought it was loud, but fun. Matt relived his obsession and love for trains! Good, good day.

That is a big train.

Look at Emma now!!

A bike rider! It's like a new freedom to her. She rides every chance she gets. She rides up and down our street saying hello to all the neighbors. It took lots and lots of practice with daddy during the summer, but she finally got it before it got to cold to ride it anymore.

Love this curly girly!

Up!

Remember the movie "Up?" Loved that movie. Well, we saw a real, live Mr. Fredrickson! This guy is completely nuts. Wouldn't you have to be to do this:

He's just in a lawn chair people! Tied to some balloons. Up he went. I couldn't believe it. He was way, way up there. Insane! Then to get down he did just what they did in the movie. He started cutting the balloons loose one by one.
I assume he landed somewhere! Haha.

This guys started off the "Great Hot Air Balloon Race" they have here every year. So fun. Here are some of our favorites:

Fun Friends!
Tal thought this was the coolest thing ever.

They'd blow 'em up and up they went. I always thought that might be kind of fun?!?! I think I'll just watch from the ground for now!
