Tal is turning into a definite boy! He decided to take a trip up the slide...backwards.
When we got to the ER we couldn't keep him awake...he slept through the whole procedure. Thank goodness he just needed to be glued shut!! He gets that power of sleep from Matt...definitely from Matt!! Crazy kid:)
He can sure make me smile though. He picks me a "flower" every time we go outside!

I Want to be Like Daddy!
Washington Fire Department Pumper 113! Reporting for duty!!
Matt's Birthday
Father/Son Campout
The kids love to wrap up "gifts" for Matt's birthday. They have always done it and Matt gets some pretty interesting treasures sometimes!!! This year Matt's birthday cake was a key lime pie at Nate and Jasmine's house. Love you Matt! More then I can say!
Father/Son Campout
These are the only two pictures Matt took of he and Tal's night together! Tal had the best time. Fishing and camping with your dad...what is better?!
Apple Picking Field Trip
Tal's first field trip for preschool was to go apple picking! It's one of the first things we do as a family when fall come around. The local orchards provide a wonderful opportunity for families and preschoolers to harvest their own apples. The kids loved picking their own. He has such great teachers (Gail Strubberg, Dana Cowsert) and has made some fun new friends! He's growing up so fast.

A Visitor at Challenge
Emma LOVES going to Challenge one day a week. She finally has a few other kids her age that join her! They had a little visitor come to class, the WHS Bluejay!!
Emma's Baptism
Our sweet princess girl made the choice to be baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I can't believe that day has already arrived. She has grown into a smart, beautiful girl. She loves primary and now that's she's 8 she lives for Activity Days!! Emma loves the stories in the scriptures and can recall them at anytime. She gets that from Matt, who is such a good example and teacher and has passed on his love and excitement of the scriptures to her. She tries to live how Heavenly Father would have her do. I know He is proud of her and I know she loves Him. I feel blessed every day to have be chosen to be her mother. I'm so proud of you Emma!
Tal was feeling left out of all the picture taking so he joined in too!!
Emma's baptism day was spent with our loving family. My parents came from Utah and Matt's parents and Aunt Donna all came to share the day with her.
She was lucky enough to share her special day with her buddy Trey Fournier. They had always talked about getting baptized on the same day! And they did it!!
Labor Day in Utah 2012!!
Matt and Nate started planning this trip during the summer. They wanted to do a LONG motorcycle trip on their Harley's. They thought Utah would be perfect. Well, there was no way they were going to Utah without Jasmine and I (and No, Jasmine and I didn't want to ride with them)! So they prepared and planned their route and Jasmine and I bought ourselves plane tickets and waved to them as we flew over!
It was a great trip: camping and fishing, bouncy house, sand dunes, seeing aunts, uncles, and cousins, seeing Aladdin at Tuacahn, playing games, and enjoying seeing everyone. And since it was close to Emma's birthday we celebrated with a party for her too!!
"The Trip!"
The boys trip was just was eventful! They were like little boys getting ready for this thing:) As they traveled Matt would send me pictures of where they were and what they were doing. If you notice Matt gets hairier and hairier as the pictures go on. That was one of the rules of the trip...no shaving. They tried their hardest to become the baddest, sprinkler contractor, Harley riders ever!!!! They finally made it to Utah and spent a few days with us before they had to turn around and head home. After 7 days and 2300 miles I think its safe to say that they had had enough Harley riding for awhile!
