In October the Washington, MO volunteer fire department celebrated their 160th anniversary! Matt is honored to be apart of such a strong legacy. Being the history buff that he is, knowing that there are decedents from some of the same families still on on the department today that organized the department 160 years ago is kind of cool for him. It was a nice night out with my handsome fireman!

Family Pictures 2012
I love driving around downtown St. Louis. There are so many amazing buildings and stunning architecture there, and being that Matt works down there he knows how to maneuver things pretty well! On one such drive he drove by this amazing wall down on the levee of the Mississippi River. It was screaming for a photo op!! So we grabbed our cousins and took some fun pictures:

Cousins!!
Nate and Jasmine
Aww brothers! Their mom must be so proud:)

Halloween 2012!
I'm catching up...slowly!!
We had a really fun Halloween this year. Our patio and fire pit were finished just in time to light a fire and serve hot chocolate and donuts to the trick-or-treaters! Add some spooky Halloween music and we had quite the party! This was the first year though that we did have theme costumes as a family. I was kind of sad (secretly Matt was too!), but when Emma and Tal saw the Merida and Spiderman costumes at the store there was no turning back!
Merida, Spidy, and out little cousin Buzz Lightyear!!
What could be better the one Spiderman... TWO Spidermen that's what! Tal and Louie were pretty excited they both chose to be the web slinging hero!!
It wouldn't be Halloween without a trip to the pumpkin patch!

Fall time fun!
Fall is definitely my favorite season!! Always has been and always will be. We decided it would be fun to take one last trip to the condo at the Lake of the Ozarks with some friends before it go to cold. There is one thing that is a must while we are there...Old Time Photos!! It's the only photo Matt actually ever gets excited about! Everyone was into it! They turned out amazing.
The Fournier's
Us! Completely believable
This one is a classic! Don't mess with our kids.
Then is was off for some mini golf! Of course you can never missed an opportunity for a good stockade picture!!
(Tal wasn't quite as excited about being contained!)
This could have possible been the best day of Matt's life up to this point. The Rams finally had a home Monday night game and He wasn't going to miss it. And not only did we get to see the game, but we had the opportunity to be on the field before the game! I even thought it was pretty cool! Matt came bursting out the the tunnel ready to play...I mean watch:)
Jo-Lonn Bundar James Laurinaitis
Steven Jackson Matt and Nate didn't miss a thing!!
It was great to do something so fun with him! It was a good game too and we brought home a winner!! GO RAMS!
WHS dance clinic
Emma's two magic words... "dance" and "perform!" The performance was during the Homecoming game. She had so much fun and did a great job!
Her classic wave! Pictures like this will never get old!!
Cardinals Playoffs
The Cardinals did it again...Well made it to the playoffs at least. Last years World Series win was amazing and hard to beat but was at least got in a few great games in the playoffs. Unfortunately we were one game away from playing in the World Series again. We gave it to the Giants...disappointing to say the least! Oh well, it's always a good time at the ballpark!
Emma the Turkey Hunter
Yep, Matt has a new hunting buddy! Decked out in her very own camo and black face paint, Emma tagged along on the last day of turkey season. Having the comfort of sitting in a hunting blind and not crawling around on the poop filled ground I'm sure made it that much more enjoyable!! No luck with a turkey though...maybe next year!
