Saying goodbye to summer has it's perks, but we are always sad to see it go. Labor Day gives us one last day to enjoy the fun of the river and jet skis! Lucky for us this year Matt's cousin Kirstin was on her way to expand her horizons in Washington, D.C. and stopped in for a visit on her way!

Family night down by the river!

Growing up in Utah if I needed an escape I'd head up the mountain a little ways and relax. Here, we head to the river! It's so relaxing watching the river run by, the fishing boats floating, and if you're lucky you'll even get to wave to the train engineer as he rumbles by!!

The BIG 7!!!

August 27 came around again and that makes 7 times now!! We planned the greatest water party ever!! Big water slide, big slip n' slide, and lots of friends, cake, and presents! What could be better then that?

This is the amazing cake a lady from our ward made for her. EVERYTHING is eatable, except the princesses which the lady could have done perfectly...but for times sake we gave her the little figures!

Happy birthday Bear!!

Calling all first graders:)

First day of first grade! It happened and I'm pretty sure I had the most excited first grader living at my house all summer:) Because Emma was able last year to visit first grade during their reading times, Emma already knew the teacher she was hoping for...Mrs. Crow! She was feeling pretty lucky to find out her wish came true! Here's to another great year:)
